NeWish is a business that promotes environmental both social values. The first e-commerce website for a curated selection of preloved childrenswear, in Israel. Established in 2018 with the aim to present an alternative for fast fashion and to educate parents that they can, and should, adopt a more environmentally friendly behavior, and change their shopping patterns. Giving parents and others, a high-level online shopping experience, NeWish allows its customers to hold to the values ​​of sustainability and prudent and proportionate consumption.

Since March 2021, NeWish collaborates with Elem, Israel’s largest NGO in the field of supporting youth in distress, and operates a “safe employment space” that provides work experience for young women at risk (ages 18 to 26) who suffer complex post-trauma. This secure work place provides the women with safe place where they can earn a fair wage, experience standard working environment, acquire skills and develop self-confidence in a real-life experience. A safe place that truly knows how to contain the complexity and trauma each brings.

Being a social business NeWish believes in social and environmental “profit line”. All profits are used to pay salaries, absorb additional women and further develop the venture.
