Dogiz

Dogiz was established to provide a comprehensive response to dog owners through various services, including conduction services, daycare, and other responses required for dog owners: food, veterinary care, a hairdresser, and more. The project employs people on the autism spectrum as dog walkers. Interacting with animals has been shown to help reduce stress, lower blood pressure and cholesterol, and even encourage more physical activity for people with ASD. Studies have found that animals can help people with ASD develop sensory and social skills and manage behavioral and stress problems.

Dogiz is running courses in partnership with the Shekel NGO run by specialists to assess and train adults with autism. The course is 6 weeks long and helps teach our new staff how to work with the app, treat clients, and most importantly, take the best care of their dogs.
