DSCN0650On Wednesday, January 27th, IVN celebrated the launch of its IVN-Yozma Fund at Colors Restaurant in New York City. The IVN-Yozma Fund is Israel’s first tri-sectorial social investment fund aimed at addressing the country’s widespread unemployment problem. More than 85 members, partners and those wanting to learn more about this ground-breaking effort attended the event.

We are thrilled to announce that at the event, the UJA-Federation of New York’s Jeffrey Stern announced that the Federation is contributing a $500,000 loan to the IVN-Yozma Fund.

Speaking at the event were Shoresh Institution President and Founder Dan Ben-David; former Palm Inc. Chairman and CEO and IVN Chairman Eric Benhamou; NICE Systems Co-Founder and IVN Board Member Benny Levin; IVN CEO Michal Simler.

The event was filled with scintillating and thought provoking conversation and presented a marvelous opportunity to learn and network.
