Susan’s House Eilat

Susan’s House Jerusalem employs youth at-risk ages 15-18 who are disconnected from society, not currently enrolled in school and often unemployed. Susan's House combines classical vocational rehabilitation programming with real-life work experience in order to help their target beneficiaries successfully assimilate back into society. During their time at Susan's House the youth learn how to manufacture and sell unique glass, jewelry, housewares, and arts & crafts. They also, under the guidance and instruction of adults, social workers and volunteer artists acquire life skills, develop self-esteem & confidence, and learn communal values and best practices.
As a result of its success, Susan’s House Eilat was opened in 2014 together with IVN.

Joined IVN’s portfolio in 2014 as part of IVN's Tandem Fund.
