KitePride

Supporting Socioeconomic Development

KitePride is a boutique bag factory in Tel Aviv. It provides a safe and empowering working environment, as well as a new path for women and men attempting to break loose from the cycle of prostitution.

This initiative was established by the GlobalAct association which combats human trafficking around the world. KitePride offers an additional environmental element, for it produces its bags using a high-quality, tensile, upcycled material: kitesurfing parachutes, sails and old parachutes no longer in use. The choice of these materials represents the project’s goal: to give their employees  recharged hope and pride.  The factory employs over 10 employees in rehabilitation.
