Israel Venture Network’s Benny Levin, Itzik Danziger and Shuki Ehrlich talk about their journey in an interview with Globes’ Shlomit Len.

Pic of globs (2)What is the connection between hi-tech magnates Benny Levin (NICE), Itzik Danziger (Comverse) and Shuki Ehrlich (Amdocs) and the small Arab town of Jisr az-Zarqa, a Rabbi from Bnei Brak and a Bedouin entrepreneur in Rahat?
The answer is the same for all three: IVN. IVN, through the mentoring, capacity building and financing of high-potential social businesses, is reducing gaps in Israeli society.

Benny Levin, IVN vice chairman and board member, was a founder of Nice, and two years ago led DB Motion, as its chairman, to a $235 million exit. Itzik Danziger, IVN Investment Committee chairman & board member, was president of Comverse. Shuki Ehrlich, IVN board member, was part of the senior management team at Amdocs and headed Giza Venture Capital.

Today, the three of them are involved in Israel’s emerging social business sector and the evolution from traditional philanthropy to social investment.
